New aiming device

A new aiming invention has been developed. Check this out for yourself.

I am an engineer and inventor. I recently dropped off a new patented practice tool called The Edge Billiard Instruction Kit with Jim at Diamond Billiards. Jim was going to show it to you. I would like to do a link exchange with your site. My site address is BuyTheEdgeOnline.com. This site explains the features of The Edge in detail. If you can get to Reno I would love to sit down and chat with you. I will be there on April 17th.

Let’s hear it for this fine DAD.

Mr. Monk I don't know if you will get this email since you are in New Zealand or if you got the last one. I need a favor from ya (This is Archie by the way) would you send this link http://www.getmeloaded.tv/ or go to www.soreonsunday.net to the people on your email list and see if they will vote for the band SORE ON SUNDAY, its my son Tyler’s band and there trying to make the big time. Thanks Archie (the kid) Henderson ha ha P.S. after sucking for 12 years I finally finished first in Gladstone Pool League again -- must be all those news letters I’ve been reading.

The Monk is busy

It’s been a busy week here in New Zealand. I am getting ready to return to the States. I have been helping three of my master students prepare for an up coming big tournament. They will wear their Masters shirts and do very well.

This game can take you as far as you desire my friend. And I will be with you each step of the way. My six months in New Zealand has stunned me with what has happened.

I wrote a new book. Focus on Winning. Thank you for the letters. This book will be a classic in the world of pocket billiards.

I filmed six Masters of Art in Pocket Billiards segments along with five new dvd in my Four Stages of Pocket Billiards series. Check out the free article. http://themonk.com/four-stages.htm

I will return to New Zealand after a ten day stay in the States. I am working on the web site, The Monk Masters University.com. This will be a membership site that will enable you to take classes directly with The Monk.

I also have six more Masters of Art in Pocket Billiards segments to film. I have three other dvd’s that are in the works. I also have another book I am working on. I am putting together a world tour. What a time to be The Monk. Thanks for sharing this journey with me. I know our paths will cross as we travel in the winner’s circle.

The Pre Shot Routine is vital to your game

Rely on your tempo. Gain trust skills.

Rail shots. If you can hit the rail first, you can hit the ball first.

I have had my run ins’ with the intellectuals of the world.

Place the object ball is on the number three diamond and the cue ball about three feet down table a foot off the rail. If you deliver a punch stroke one sixteenth below center and hit the rail ever so slightly first, you will go straight across the table. When you hit the same shot with a punch stroke and hit the ball ever so slightly first, you will come back in a "V" to your side of the side pocket. I’ve illustrated this in my workshops and in my dvd and in my books.

When you do a 2-7-2 + 3 and hit the rail first, you will scratch in the corner pocket.

When you hit the ball first, you will go around the table to the center. When you hit the rail first, the dynamics of your stroke are changed, thus you lose control of the cue ball. The so called experts are wrong. They cling to a belief system that works only in physics terms. They cannot move forward into the intuitive side of this game.

I can line up the shot, announce that I will hit rail first and predict the track line of the cue ball.

I can announce that I will hit ball first and predict the track line of the cue ball. The track line will be distinctly different in each shot.

If you can hit the rail first, you can hit the ball first. Those stuck in the physics are lost in the Warrior Learning stage and will never move forward. These kinds of players almost never reach world class. There is a side to this game that the intellectual mind will never grasp.

Consistency made easier,

When you address any shot, do so with the knowledge that you are not sure if you will make the shot or not. You don’t know if you will miss the shot, or you will make the shot. But you do know, you will look good shooting the shot.
