Tell it like it is
This is the time of the season when we celebrate our love and generosity towards each other. The birth of Christ (the gospel) inspires us all to be mindful of our own feelings towards our brothers and sisters. I am not politically correct enough to wish you a Happy Holiday. It seems so foolish to choose Christmas for that phrase and not Valentines Day or Easter or Thanksgiving. Why would we not want to call it what it is? Last Christmas I was in New Zealand and they have no trouble honoring the birth of Christ. I do hope we can all get into the spirit of Christmas and feel the incredible love that Christ gave to us so that we could find our freedom from the things that hold us back. Peace and goodwill towards others is a condition of the mind and Jesus Christ makes that possible.
