The Monk on The Road

Do me a favor. All this week, think about successful shots. Bring to mind a nice stroke, a nice sound and the object ball going into the pocket. As we think, so are we. Often times we fill our minds with fear and remind ourselves of the many failures we have experienced in the past.

I was faced with a tough eight ball. I missed my position and waited to miss the shot. Just as I approached the shot in this mind frame, I said "cancel" and stepped back. At this time I asked myself how I would feel if my opponent left me with this shot? I can make it. I can win from here. I filled my mind with winning thoughts, thoughts of confidence and then landed the eight ball into the pocket.

Spend this entire week building the habit of winning thoughts. That which you focus on you strengthen.

Ceri Worts will be in Houston with The Monk

Ceri Worts just won the Oceana Eight Ball Championships in New Zealand. This group features the best of Australia and the Phillopines. Ceri was undefeated. He also won the South Island Nine Ball Championship with another undefeated performance.

He is coming to Houston to work with The Monk. I am holding a special workshop at Breakers Billiards on October 4th & 5th. This workshop is limited to four students. If you are interested, email me and I will fill you in with the details. This is a one time opportunity to work with The Monk, one of his Monk Masters and world champion Ceri Worts.

A Special Week in Lancastor OH
