The Monk's Crazy stance system
July 10, 2007

Try this system.

I am working on my stance and pre shot routine. I discovered something today. I paid attention to my heal and made sure my feet were fully flat on the floor. This really helped. What I notice is that the cue ball is crisp and the object ball flies into the pocket. At the master level it is all about contact. You can make balls but if your object ball is sliding or bobbling into the pocket it suggest a poor contact with the cue ball. The sighting on the object ball has caused some of you to connect with more purity on the object ball. You are seeing some nice shots going into the middle of the pocket. Now I want you to FEEL THE HEAL. and make sure your feet are flat and solid on the floor before you deliver the stroke. When you get back up from your stance, push yourself up with your right hand. Do not use your back muscles to return to the standing position.

US Open project

When it comes to sponsoring Ceri Worts for his US Open training we can all ask as Templeton did of Charlotte “What’s in it for me?”

My answer is “A lot”.

If you agree to sponsor this young man this is how it works. He is going to enter The Monk Training Center for thirty days of non stop training. His diet will be monitored to see that he is in great health. He will be assigned running and physical exercises to assure endurance. We are going to do a study in the art of a great nine ball break. We are going to break five hundred racks and feed this information into the computer for a print out. We are using the exact same break, speed and cue ball contact. Out of those five hundred racks will evolve about thirty consistent patterns. These patterns will be known as

THE MONK FILES.

Then we will find the exact best way to handle those patterns.

This knowledge is priceless.

You will want these patterns in your own files.

I am not going to produce a dvd with these patterns.

I am not going to write a book with these patterns.

My investment in this project is well in excess of ten thousand dollars.

I am only making THE MONK FILES available to the sponsors. You will receive these patterns for your personal use. You will be in possession of knowledge that has never been offered before.

I hope you will see the value in this program. We have the star in Ceri. We have the training program. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Take a moment to meet Ceri Worts.

Ceri came over to The Monk Training Center and worked for seven hours. He turned in his humble report as he works his way through The Masters of Art in Pocket Billiards.

Pile rocks (7racks) no missed shots.

"no rails" (7 racks) no missed shots.

40 stops shots. no missed shots.

12 ball exercise 2 missed shots.

13 ball exercise (3 racks) 2 missed shots.

He thought he had to shoot all the balls in the two corner pockets.

I hope you will join us. On each practice day, I will send the sponsor (you) a report. This information will keep you informed on his progress. The information will also be valuable.

It is almost like you are entering a ten thousand dollar training program for just a two hundred dollar donation to help a friend. I look forward to sharing this material with you.

As soon as you pledge to sponsor I will send you a unique training program that both Ceri and I are doing every day. This one session is worth the price. Train with us. Get the game you have always dreamed of.

If you decide to be a sponsor send a check for $200.00 to Samsara Publishing Company PO Box 365 Orange MA. 01364. Mark the envelope "US Open".

Right now we are meeting every Wednesday night and Sunday after noon. Ceri is expected to do assignments during the week. The official Monk Training Center US Open program begins on September 6th. All of our preliminary work will be done by then. You will receive up dates twice a week until September and then you will receive up dates just about every day until we fly to Virginia.

Make plans to join this training. Don't miss out. This is a one time training program. All the research material I gain from this project will be shared with you.

A Statement from an MMU Member

From time to time I recieve the purpose statements from those in the $99.00 MMU program. They are taking sixty classes and working on one hundred and sixty shots in The Lesson. Here is the purpose statement from a special member.
I want to experience every aspect of this art. Through experiencing this art not only I grow as an Artist but also I grow as an individual. In this growth process I will become a world class player and I expect to be in the winner's circle. I am learning to be disciplined on and off the table and to be open to whatever come's my way. I have tried many avenues which did not work out for me but studying this art I am fullfilled.

I have a burning desire for success and I have an inner knowingness that I am on the correct path. I will be a world class player. It's so true "When the student is ready the teacher will appear". When the going gets tough I want to be able to dig deep down within me and use the tools I'm being taught.

I have learned a very valuable lesson in life and that is Generosity. When you give you get and time after time I experience that, it's comes back to me and in ways I've never expected. People say it's lonely at the top, I say well reach down and pull someone up then you won't be lonely.

In mastering Billiards and myself this is a great way to instill what I am learning to other people and help them to reach the highest level. What a wonderful gift "To Give"

Check these pool slates If you are interested in Pool Art you need to check out this web site. A New England Artist took some of my sayings and painted them on to original slates. Pick out the one you like and hang it in your pool room. You will own an original "one of a kind" piece of art.

You will not believe the price of these fine works of art. The pool slates are at the bottom of her product page.
