Do you have your stroke grooved?Do you have your stroke grooved?Sometimes you need to work on your stance, set up and stroke and only that. Run racks of balls with just the set up in mind. Make sure you key in on the elements that allow you to deliver a great stroke. How far is your hand from your body? What position are your feet? Is your right shoulder in line with the target? What about you follow through and where you finish? Is this finish the same for all shots? Get to know yourself and you will never go into a slump again. In my class on slumps in MMU I talk about how the stance is the major cause of all slumps. Once we line up improperly and the shots don’t look right, we open the door to all sorts of impure thoughts. Get a friend to watch you play and score you on the five questions above.

Check these pool slates If you are interested in Pool Art you need to check out this web site. A New England Artist took some of my sayings and painted them on to original slates. Pick out the one you like and hang it in your pool room. You will own an original "one of a kind" piece of art.
You will not believe the price of these fine works of art. The pool slates are at the bottom of her product page.
I hope your summer is going well. During these warm days, reading and watching dvd's helps keep our games in shape. It is winter here in New Zealand so I am getting a lot of time on the table. I do hope you will make plans to visit me in this incredible country. I would love to help you with your game. |
