What does it take to Win? March 24, 2007 |
What Does it Take to Win?You must possess a powerful drive made up of imagination, self-discipline, selfishness, endurance, fear, courage and social instability. This sounds like a real mouthful.
I want you to think about how each quality equates winning and how you can acquire the attributes that will turn you into a winner. This is incredible information and should only be shared with serious students of the game. If you would like me to send you a nice article on this subject, I will be happy to. Simply request the What does it take to win and I will send it to you personally.
I have been working with students for over twenty years now. When I first wrote Focus on Winning I named the book “My Students from Hell”. They both showed up at the Expo to reassure me of how accurate the title was. I wanted to stay politically correct so I moved away from the first title. Focus on Winning is exactly what that book is all about. This is how to focus on the task at hand so you will not be distracted by the petty things around you. I encouraged both my “hell” students to read the book with an open mind. They are doing well as they do have the one thing that is vital to a good game and that is they will never give up. As they grow, they will learn and prosper in this great game.
Once you come out of the Lonely Conflict stage your personal grow explodes and you break through to the next level and beyond.
