Graduates of The Monk Masters University.

The following students attended MMU’s special Teacher Seminar at the University of Illinois at Chicago. They are almost ready to assume the title MONK MASTER. These students began their training at the Gold Level at The Monk Masters University. Then they attended a Maine Event. After that they went through a five day special training program with The Monk.

To complete their training, each must schedule a SECRET’S REVEALED SEMINAR in their own home town. The SECRET’S REVEALED SEMINAR is a special two day seminar featuring The Monk with several special guest. The host MONK MASTER Student will do a presentation on the subjects we all teach. This two day seminar cost $200.00 to attend.

The SECRETS REVEALED SEMINAR shares closely guarded secrets the Pro’s are not willing to share. Students who attend this two day event will enhance their knowledge and have the tools to following a meaningful training program. Following the SRS the student receives his/her masters degree and is officially titled a MONK MASTER.

When you take a lesson from a MONK MASTER you can depend on him/her for a complete course in The Monk 101.

A special letter from a Master.

To my fellow Masters, we are all working hard to achieve our goals and as we add more to our collective minds our consciousness grows. We form a unit that strengthens it self and feeds on the energy derived from the companionship and the camaraderie. I'm glad to know that we have such fine people in our program.

I've been working diligently on my skill. I'm almost through the new and improved lesson 4 (the 12 day course). I've taken breaks from the prescribed course work to work on my stroke, primarily, my punch stroke.

I've decided that the touch no rail drill, on a bar box, is the hardest drill in the world. I realized at some point, that this drill was the ultimate opponent. I can run 100 balls. I can shoot the 12 ball exercise with no misses. I've shot 142 stop shots cross the table. But this drill kills me. I wanted to give this drill up. Or make it easy and throw only 10 balls out instead of 15. But I felt like I'd be cheating myself.

Touch No Rail on A Bar Box. So as I'm typing this I think to myself, my best in 7 racks has been 10 misses. 10! (I count hitting the rail a miss) That's pretty good. Considering only three of those misses came from me missing the pocket. In one other situation, my misses were all just me hitting the rail. That means, yup, I made 105 balls without missing the pocket. I guess there is a little ice cream in everything.

So I guess, through the struggle we really do find happiness. My goal is to become a world class tournament player. Why, because I love the feeling of winning. I will keep training and eventually, I will beat the best player I know.

Keep training Masters. I didn't understand why Master Tim didn't want us playing in tournament until the other night while I was in my Cave sweating like a madman. I'm not ready and to go out there. So I'm going to train, and train and train. And When I'm ready, I will know it.

So I'll be running 7 racks of touch no rail and putting up good number. A 10 is good, but a 5 would be better and 0 would make me swoon.

I'm reading the Focus on Winning book. I think there are some great lessons in that book. So if you got the spare change, get it.

Travis K.

Let's team up together

I just bought a ticket from myself

I just bought a ticket from myself I just purchased my airline ticket from my own company Point the Way Travel. It was great. I saved and will get a commission from that purchase. My family will now buy all their tickets from me. After all, we have to buy them from somebody, why not give the business to a relative? I saved two hundred dollars on my ticket to New Zealand and return.

I am buying five tickets from New Zealand to America in December, one ticket from Singapore, one from Germany, all returns. I will save money and get a commission. If you have friends or family who travel, why not join me and get your own travel agency. They will buy their tickets from you, you save them money, and you make a commission. Check it out. Make sure you listen to the presentation. You will be glad you did. If you are planning to fly log on to Point the Way travel and get your ticket from me. You will save money. I will be happy. I know my price is lower than Expedia or Cheap Tickets.com.

Getting on a plane for NZ

I am heading to NZ in about an hour. It will be nice to back in my office again where I can attend to the business of training players. The trip has been great, but my work has been put on a shelf.

In Aiken South Carolina NBC came out to do a special segment of me shooting pool and teaching. It was broadcast live. We did three takes. Live TV is hard on the nerves but I did not miss one shot. The segment went out to twelve million people. It was broadcast in the south east.

I am not working on my next tour. The SECRETS REVEALED TOUR. More later.

I also moved my NC office up to MA. Vic Miller is now in charge of shipping. This will help a great deal.

Remember, go through your PSR and make sure you "see the shot, know the stroke, and shoot the shot" Hamption INN turned out to be the best hotel we stayed in. WOW what great service.
